Provvista Specialty Foods is the wholesale distributor of choice for the Northwest's finest restaurants and retailers. We have a continually expanding inventory of the highest quality domestic and imported ingredients available, covering a wide range of territory from dried pasta to cured meat, Italian spring water to artisan chocolate, and dried beans to washed rind cheese, just to scratch the surface. With a significant percentage of the staff here comprised of former chefs and other members of the culinary industry, we find ourselves spending much of our time in the workplace and beyond immersed in a culture of food - tasting, discussing, sharing recipes, and eating together. Frequent tastings are hosted to share information and try new products as well as to re-taste items we've carried for years. We cook lunch for the staff every day, utilizing Provvista's products and providing delicious practical examples of how these ingredients can be put to good use.
Provvista's purchasers travel domestically and overseas to attend trade shows and visit with the artisans who make the foods we carry, ever on the lookout for new, authentic products with a story to tell. And many of the provisions on our shelves are initially inspired from suggestions and requests from our customers in this wonderfully engaged community of chefs and food enthusiasts.
